Melangloomy tauchten ca. 1996 in der Schweinfurter Szene auf. Melodischer Punkrock / Hardcore würd ich mal sagen wobei die Melodic-Schraube schon deutlich angezogen wurde. Das Demotape ist damals schon recht klasse geworden. Richtig geile Songs. Schon der erste Song weist die Richtung und knallt verdammt gut rein. 1999 brachten sie einen Großteil der Songs nochmal auf der Debüt-CD ''Cry Blue Murder'' raus.
